Federal locators and consumer pages

Open the CFPB housing-counselor locator for HUD-approved agencies by ZIP code. CFPB’s mortgage help page frames free foreclosure help and warns about advance-fee guarantees that claim to stop foreclosure. What is a mortgage servicer? is the Ask CFPB explainer. HUD housing counseling is the program overview and HUD’s published referral line. HUD, Avoiding Foreclosure is HUD’s own page; Creative Home Partners is not that program. Idaho Legal Aid is a public legal-aid homepage, not a counselor we operate. Home Fit Idaho is an independent housing-counseling organization; confirm current services on their site.

Trust-deed statutes — read the official text

Idaho’s Title 45, Chapter 15 — Trust Deeds is the Legislature’s chapter. § 45-1505 addresses when a trustee may foreclose by advertisement and sale, including notice of default. § 45-1506 addresses manner of foreclosure, notice, and sale, including the official one-hundred-twenty-day figure before the day fixed for a trustee’s sale. That figure is a statute, not your personal calendar. § 45-1506C addresses supplemental notice and an opportunity to request a loan modification when that section applies. This site will not turn those pages into a countdown.

The Ada County Recorder holds recorded documents for the county that includes Boise. The Ada County Assessor answers parcel and assessment questions. Idaho Housing and Finance Association is the state housing-finance agency homepage; this site does not certify program eligibility.
